A Money Tracker You Can Actually Use

The idea for Paisa came from watching how small businesses, shopkeepers, and families in Pakistan actually manage money — on paper, in notebooks, and in their heads.

Every day, millions of small transactions happen: a shopkeeper receives Rs 500 from a customer, sends Rs 200 to a supplier, tracks who owes what, and tries to remember who paid last week. None of it is recorded properly. When disputes happen, memories differ. When a customer says "I already paid," the shopkeeper has nothing to show.

There are apps for this. But most of them are too complex, cloud-locked, ad-heavy, expensive, or English-only. We asked a simple question: why should tracking who paid you cost more than the payment itself?

Paisa was built to answer that question. It's a local-first, offline, ad-free tracker for the two things that actually matter in day-to-day money handling: what you received and what you sent.

Three Layers of the Money Problem

Most tools only address one. Paisa solves all three.

Layer 01

The Record Layer

You need to remember every transaction. Not mentally — properly. Paisa stores it, cleanly and permanently, on your phone.

Layer 02

The Trust Layer

If you say a customer owes Rs 5,000, you need proof. Paisa generates a PDF report with dates, amounts, and balance — shareable over WhatsApp in seconds.

Layer 03

The Friction Layer

If adding a transaction takes 30 seconds, no one will do it. If it takes 3 seconds, everyone will. Paisa is designed around speed — one screen to add, one tap to save.

Five Things. Done Right.

No server. No cloud. No account. Just a tracker that works.

01

Tracks Every Payment

Each transaction has an amount, a customer, a type (Received or Sent), a method (Cash, Card, Bank, Online), a date, an optional invoice number, and optional notes. All stored locally.

02

Manages Customers

Each customer has a name, phone, optional email, CNIC, city, and an opening balance. Paisa generates a unique Customer ID. Full history preserved.

03

Generates PDF Reports

Pick any customer (or several), pick a date range, and Paisa generates a clean PDF report showing every transaction, the running balance, and totals. Share over WhatsApp.

04

Shows Live Dashboards

Home shows total Received vs Sent with a pie chart. Customers dashboard shows 6-month growth chart. Payments dashboard shows monthly Received vs Sent bars.

05

Works Completely Offline

No internet required. No accounts. No sign-up. No login. No cloud sync. No analytics. Install it, open it, start using it. Everything stays on your phone.

Your Records. Your Phone. Your Business.

Privacy is the entire point of Paisa.

01

All Data Local

Stored in a Room database on your phone. Inaccessible to other apps.

02

No Cloud, No Accounts

There is no Paisa server. No account system. No sync. Nothing leaves the phone.

03

No Analytics

No Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics, no tracking SDKs. No usage logs, no events.

04

No Ads

No ad networks. Not banners, not interstitials, not rewarded videos. None. Ever.

05

Reports Stay Local

PDFs are saved to app's private folder. Shared only when you tap "Share".

06

No Background Access

No background services. When closed, Paisa stops accessing storage entirely.

Credits

Paisa is designed and built by Awan IGD.

Special thanks to the AndroidX team for Room, Material Components, and the FileProvider API — the three pillars that made this app possible.

And thanks to every shopkeeper, small business owner, and family member who has ever tracked money on paper and wished there were something better.

Free. Forever.

Paisa is free, and there are no plans to change that. It exists as a public-good project — a way to demonstrate that useful, private, offline software can be delivered to ordinary people without a business model that treats user data as inventory.

No Ads No Subscriptions No In-App Purchases No Premium Tiers No Data Sales

The app is funded entirely by Awan IGD's other products and services. If users want to support the project, the About screen includes a welfare donation link — 100% of donations go to orphan sponsorships, food distribution, and healthcare tracking.

A Record, Kept by You, for You

Paisa isn't trying to be the biggest money tracker. It's trying to be the one you can actually use — because it can't do anything except what it says.

No servers. No accounts. No tracking. No tricks. Just a record of what you received and what you sent, kept on your phone, owned by you.

That's the whole idea. Everything else is implementation.
