One — All-in-One File Viewer
Free Android file viewer that opens 500+ file types — images, video, audio, PDF, archives, code, eBooks, and more. No ads. No tracking. No internet.
One App. Everything.
A single, small, fast app that opens every file your Android phone can handle — and many it can't handle on its own.
One is a free Android file viewer built by Awan IGD. It opens files that already exist on your device. It does not download anything, does not connect to the internet, and does not create files. It reads what is already there and shows it to you in a clean, modern interface.
The app exists because Android's built-in tools only open a small number of file types. Users who receive files in uncommon formats — or who work with code, archives, or specialized documents — often cannot open them without installing several different apps. One replaces all of those apps with a single install.
The name "One" reflects this: one app for everything.
Everything It Does
Complete, honest list of every capability One provides.
Browse Device Storage
Opens at the root of your storage. Folders first, then files — all alphabetically sorted. Tap to open, back to go up, back again to exit.
Open Images
Full-screen image viewer with swipe between images in the same folder. Shows position (3/12), extension, and size.
Play Videos
Play/pause buttons, live time counter, tap to toggle, center play button when paused. Uses Android's native media system.
Play Audio
Vinyl-disc interface that rotates while playing. Five animated equalizer bars. Rewind/forward 10s, seek bar, play/pause.
Render PDFs
Page-by-page viewer with double-resolution rendering for sharp text. Swipe to change pages. Shows current/total page.
Open Comic Archives
CBZ and CBT files — extract images and display page-by-page with page count and swipe navigation.
Open EPUB Books
Extracts text from internal XHTML files and displays as scrollable text. Chapter order follows internal file naming.
Show MOBI / AZW / AZW3
Extracts readable ASCII strings from binary content and displays as text. Shows file info if full rendering isn't possible.
Show FB2 & FBZ
Extracts XML content and displays readable text. Handles both plain FB2 and ZIP-wrapped FBZ.
Handle XPS & DjVu
Shows a page explaining the format is recognized and listed, but cannot be rendered without conversion.
Open Documents
TXT, MD, LOG, RTF read line by line. DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, ODT, ODS, ODP extract text from internal XML. CSV/TSV show raw rows.
Open Code Files
Line numbers + code, both columns scroll together. Handles 15,000+ lines. Supports 110+ code extensions. Copy button included.
Browse Archives
Opens ZIP, JAR, WAR, APK, XAPK, IPA, CBZ, EPUB, WHL, NUPKG, CRX, VSIX, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, and more.
Inspect Binary Files
Three tabs: HEX (byte dump with offsets), TEXT (printable strings), INFO (magic number, format ID, statistics).
Handle Unknown Files
Generic viewer with INFO, TEXT, HEX tabs. Shows SHA-256 hash, metadata, format notes for URL, PEM, VCF, ICS, TORRENT, and more.
Receive Files From Other Apps
Appears in "Open with" in Gmail, WhatsApp, Telegram, and any other app. Also appears as a sharing target.
Share Files
Open With button hands files to other apps via Android's FileProvider with scoped, temporary access.
Copy Text
Documents, code, binary text dumps, and generic viewer content — all copyable with one tap.
About Screen
App logo, tagline, description, supported formats, company info, CEO info, and contact buttons for phone, email, and website.
Exactly Two. Nothing More.
The app requests only what it needs to read files — nothing else.
What It Requests
2 PermissionsREAD_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Required on Android 12 and earlier to read files from device storage.
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Required on Android 11+ for file browsing apps. Google Play allows this for legitimate file viewers.
What It Does NOT Request
Zero Access- Internet
- Camera
- Microphone
- Location
- Contacts
- Calendar
- SMS
- Phone state
- Body sensors
- Bluetooth
Because the app does not request Internet permission, it cannot transmit any data even if it wanted to. This is the strongest privacy guarantee any app can offer.
What It Opens
Complete list of supported file categories and common formats.

Simple by Design
Launch, browse, tap, open — the app handles the rest.
Launch
A splash screen with logo, app name, and tagline appears. After about 2.8 seconds, it fades out and the home screen opens.
File List
Each file and folder is a card with icon, name, and either "Folder" or a formatted size. Folders first, then files, sorted alphabetically.
Navigation
Tap a folder to open it. Back goes up one level. At root, back exits the app. Simple, predictable, fast.
File Detection
The app reads the file extension and routes to the correct viewer — image, video, audio, PDF, code, archive, binary, or generic.
Animations
Every screen transition uses a slide-in animation. Cards animate in with a stagger effect. Buttons bounce on press.
Error Handling
Every file operation is wrapped in error handling. If a file cannot be read, the app shows a friendly message. It never crashes on bad files.
Built to Protect You
Every design decision favors your privacy.
No Internet Access
The app cannot connect to the network. No data leaves your device.
No Analytics
No SDKs track your usage. Nothing is collected or transmitted.
No Ads
Zero ads of any kind. No banners, no interstitials, no video ads.
No Account
No login, no registration, no user profile. The app doesn't know who you are.
No File Modification
Never writes, modifies, deletes, or renames any file. Only reads.
Temporary Cache
Archive extraction goes to a temp folder that clears automatically on exit.
Scoped Sharing
FileProvider grants access only to the shared file, then revokes it automatically.
No Background Access
No background services. When closed, it stops accessing storage entirely.
What It Does Not Do
Being honest about boundaries is a feature, not a weakness.
- Does not download files from the internet
- Does not create new files
- Does not edit or modify files
- Does not rename files
- Does not delete files
- Does not move or copy files
- Does not compress archives to storage
- Does not require an account
- Does not sync to any cloud
- Does not connect to any server
- Does not contain ads
- Does not contain in-app purchases
- Does not collect analytics
- Does not track usage
- Does not send notifications
- Does not run background services
- Does not request unnecessary permissions
Runs Everywhere
Android Version
Runs on Android 5.0 (API 21) and above — covers almost every Android device in use today.
Storage
The app takes a few megabytes. Archive extraction uses a temporary cache that clears automatically.
Memory
Runs comfortably on devices with 1 GB of RAM or more.
Permissions
Storage access is required. No other permissions are requested — ever.
Step by Step
Everything you need to know to start using One.
First Launch
Install and open One. If prompted, tap "GRANT PERMISSION" and allow storage access. The file browser appears.
Browse Files
Tap any folder to open it. Tap back to go up one level. At the root, tap back again to exit the app.
Open Files
Tap any file. The app automatically opens the right viewer. Use the back button to return.
Swipe Through Images
Tap any image. Swipe left or right to move between images in the same folder. Top bar shows position.
Play Video & Audio
Tap any video or audio file. Use play, pause, rewind, forward. Drag the seek bar to jump to any point.
Copy Content
Open any document, code file, or text view. Tap the copy button in the top bar. Paste anywhere.
Share Files
Open any file in the Generic Viewer. Tap "Open With" to send it to another app.
Open From Other Apps
In Gmail, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc., tap "Open with" on a file. Choose One. The file opens in the right viewer.
Being Honest About Limits
The app is not perfect. Here is what it cannot do — clearly stated.
Non-ZIP Archives
RAR, 7Z, and TAR cannot be extracted without external libraries. The app shows file information but does not open them.
Some Image Formats
RAW camera files, PSD files, and TIFF files may not decode on all devices. The app shows a fallback screen explaining why.
Some Audio Formats
APE, ALAC, DSF, and RA may not play on all devices. The app shows a status message when playback isn't supported.
MOBI & AZW Rendering
MOBI and AZW files show extracted text but not the full formatted layout.
XPS & DjVu
XPS and DJVU files show information but not rendered pages.
Codec Support
Video and audio playback depends on the device's codecs. Not every device plays every format.
Very Large Files
Very large files may take a moment to load. The app caps preview sizes to keep performance smooth.
Legacy Binary Documents
Legacy DOC, XLS, and PPT show information and ASCII preview rather than full text.

One App Instead of Many
Android phones come with a small set of built-in apps. These apps open some file types but not many. If you receive a ZIP file, a DOCX file, a code file, or a rare image format, the phone cannot open it without help.
Normally, users solve this by installing several different apps. One app for PDFs, another for images, another for video, another for archives, another for code, and so on. Each app uses storage, requests permissions, shows ads, and runs in the background.
One replaces all of those apps. It is a single, small, fast app that opens everything the phone can handle — plus many things it cannot handle on its own. It requests only the storage permission it needs to read files. It contains no ads. It collects no data. It connects to nothing.
The purpose of One is simple: to make opening any file on your Android phone effortless, private, and pleasant.
